After a successful survey ashore earlier this month, we were blessed with a mini heat-wave in Scotland last week for the Acceptance Sea Trials of the beautiful Gunfleet 43 ‘Wind Song’ which we had been listing on our Gunfleet Brokerage.
The day started with light winds which gradually increased, allowing us to fully demonstrate the cruising chute and top-down furler, before moving onto white sails in a steady 15kn breeze in the southern end of Loch Fyne, Argyll. The full suit of sails was from our trusted supplier Dolphin Sails.
The second day was spent going through all of the yachts systems from bow to stern at Portavadie Marina, explaining to the new owner the best operating procedures and recommended maintenance.
‘Wind Song’ is a 2014 model and has been meticulously cared for by her UK owners since launch, she now has new adventures ahead of her and will be in the Mediterranean this summer. This is the second sale of a brokerage Gunfleet 43 this year, keep an eye on our brokerage page for new listings – they don’t hang around long!
