This is a powerful sailing yacht that delivers real performance and a rewarding helming experience that will delight the most demanding of yachtsmen. Clean, undistorted hull lines, an upright stem and long waterline, and generous beam carried well aft, all point to an excellent performance profile.
Her ballasted shoal draft keel, with deep centerboard, gives her serious upwind potential with the convenience of ultra-shoal draft. The benefits from twin rudders have to be experienced to be believed. The Gunfleet 58 carries virtually no weather helm even when pressed to the wind or when close-reaching with spinnaker with maximum heel. Steering remains finger-light with total control at all times. The absence of helm weight means zero fatigue for helmsman or autopilot.
Clean and uncluttered, the deck is easy to move around when sailing. The twin ‘Flightdeck’ helm positions feel secure as they are set down on deck, properly protected, so the helmsman steers from ‘in’, not ‘on’ the boat. There is easy access to the cockpit from the aft deck without a hazardous climb over coachroof or coamings.

I remember going aboard the Gunfleet 58 when she was first unveiled at the Düsseldorf show and being blown away by the standard of her finish. Spending two days aboard her did nothing to change that view…when you take into consideration the shoal draft versatility, together with the sparkling performance of this new Gunfleet, she stands out
Owner, Gunfleet 58-01, Tashatoo III
It was great to have crossed an ocean for the first time. Despite whatever the weather gods threw at us, Tashatoo III was reassuringly sound and capable and felt very safe
Emilio Martinelli, Yacht Capital
A yacht that epitomises safe, fast and most importantly of all comfortable seafaring
Owner, Gunfleet 58-03, Andiamo
RORC Caribbean 600 - So just how much fun was THAT! Charging around the Caribbean on screaming reaches, surging 10 - 12+ knots all the way. Safety, comradery & performance - we clearly achieved all three!
Owner, Gunfleet 58-04, Argenta
South Pacific - Argenta thrived in the reach to broad reach easily maintaining 10 knots with mainsail and solent jib, and as the wind increased so did our speed!
Argenta was comfortable and all systems worked well for a stress free life at sea, the boat is a delight!
